COVID-19

Because of the lockdown in Scotland and the rest of the UK we have had to make some changes for the safety of our customers and to ensure our business is complying with the rules. Due to current restrictions, potential buyers cannot access our store and so are not able to view cars in person at this time. Regrettably, we are unable to provide test drives during lockdown. In the circumstances, online viewing is advisable (and encouraged!) and most of our business is conducted safely and … [Read more...]

MG YA Saloon (1950) £9,850

A tidy little MG Saloon in original and good condition all round. Superb to drive. Lively 1250cc original engine and comfortable red leather interior and newish carpets. Many £100's of receipts showing good maintenance and refurbishment as needed over the years. Now fitted with flashing indicators for safety. The paintwork is shiny but a little worn and blotchy in places so a repaint might be tempting although it might also spoil the mature patina. Underneath it is neat and very solid with no … [Read more...]

Lancia Delta Integrale 16V (1989) £24,950

The Lancia Delta Integrale needs little or no introduction. Evolved from the all-conquering rally Delta 4WD of the mid-80s, the road-going Integrale started off as an 8-valve, moved on to the 16V and then into the stratosphere of the EVO versions. Besides the obvious insertion of permanent 4WD and the existing 2.0 litre turbo engine, both appearing in the original Delta HF, the Integrale added a revised torque split biased more to the rear wheels, lowered suspension, boxy wheel arches and … [Read more...]

Lancia Fulvia Sports Zagato RHD 1300S (1973) Completely rebuilt £25,850

This Sports Zagato 1300S is one of the most exotic Lancia’s of the early 1970’s. Of the 7000 made, only a few score are RHD. The car was entirely stripped in 2015 after lying unused for over 30 years and then refurbished mechanically and bare-metal painted. It has covered only 47k miles and is in excellent condition all round. It is retained in the correct trim and deep bright red of the successful 1.3 S rally cars of the early 70's. The original bumpers are available if desired. The engine … [Read more...]

Mercedes Benz 450 SLC coupe automatic (1977) £9,850 ono

1977 Mercedes Benz 450 SLC coupe automatic

Very usable, 4.5 litre, V8 engined version of the SLC, in blue with cream leather. One of the late, renowned motoring author, LJK Setright’s favourite cars, the Mercedes SLC coupe (model designation C107) was launched in the same year (1971) as the R107 SL roadster. Despite sharing a distinct family resemblance, the SLC was not merely a coupe version of the soft top model. It was a much larger car, a full four-seater not merely a 2+2, on an extended chassis with a variety of different engines … [Read more...]
